KRISTY PARK KULSKI is a Bram Stoker award nominated, Korean-American author, historian, and vampire of patriarchal tears. Channeling a lifelong obsession with history and the morose she’s the author of gothic horrors, Fairest Flesh, and House of Pungsu, as well as the editor of the anthology Silk & Sinew, listed on NYPL's Best New Horror 2025. She bartered nine years of her life to the U.S. Navy and Air Force and later taught college history. Born in Hawaii, she now resides in the woods of Northeast Ohio where she (probably) brews potions and talks to ghosts. Find her online at garnetonwinter.com.

KRISTY PARK KULSKI is a Bram Stoker award nominated, Korean-American author and historian. Her work is often inspired by feminism, history, folklore, and an overactive imagination. She’s the author of gothic horrors, Fairest Flesh and House of Pungsu, as well as the editor of the anthology Silk & Sinew, listed on NYPL’s Best New Horror 2025. Before publishing her writing, she inhabited a variety of careers from sailor, video game designer, to teaching college history and still holds out hope for a chapter as an Indiana Jones style archaeologist. Born in Hawaii, she’s lived in many places thanks to the U.S. Navy and Air Force, but nowadays is on a quest for the best kimchi chigae she can find in Northeast Ohio. She lives in a house in the woods with her favorite people—two kids, husband, cats, and a really old puppy. Find her online at garnetonwinter.com.
